Bay Delta Region Hunt Programs

• Delta Island Hunts (registration in November) Waterfowl hunts conducted in cooperation with the California Department of Water Resources on state holdings located in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.
• Cañada de los Osos Hunts (register February through October) Apprentice junior deer, wild pig, and wild turkey hunts, conducted in cooperation with the Friends of Cañada de los Osos, at CDFW's Cañada De Los Osos Ecological Reserve in Santa Clara County.
• Waterfowl Hunting at Eden Landing Hunt waterfowl at Eden Landing Ecological Reserve (Hayward) November through January (no registration necessary).
• San Antonio Valley Apprentice Junior Hunts (registration begins mid-August) Apprentice junior deer and upland game hunts at CDFW’s San Antonio Valley Ecological Reserve in Santa Clara County.
• Lake Sonoma Turkey Hunts (registration in spring and fall) Wild turkey hunts, conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), on USACE property at Lake Sonoma in Sonoma County.
• Knoxville Wildlife Area Special Deer Hunt (registration begins in May). Special draw hunt for deer in the Knoxville Wildlife Area (Napa County) for one period, the opening week of A Zone Deer Hunt Season.
