Mojave River Hatchery

A major producer and supplier of trout for Southern California, Mojave River Hatchery is located in the town of Victorville in San Bernardino County. Although in the Mojave Desert, the Mojave River aquifer supplies water for raising big trout. Waters that leave the hatchery percolate back to the aquifer but first create a wetland for wildlife and wildlife viewing.
