Swan Tours

CDFW will not be offering swan tours for the 2016 - 2017 seasons

Guided public swan tours are only available during the California Swan Festival, November 11 – 13, 2016 in Marysville. Visit link opens in new windowwww.caswanfestival.com to register.

Self-guided swan viewing:

  • Swans may be seen from safe, select pullouts off Woodruff Lane at Highway 70 intersection to Highway 20 and roads north and south in-between.
  • Public restrooms are not available for self-guided swan viewing.
  • No Trespassing –all areas beyond the roadside are private property. Please do not walk into the rice fields as it disturbs birds and farming practices.
  • Swans are best viewed from your vehicle. Viewing waterfowl away from your vehicle may cause them to fly off thereby wasting energy necessary for long migrations.
