Harvest Dashboard

Access the CDFW Pronghorn Harvest Dashboard at the link below.

NOTE: the CDFW Pronghorn Harvest Dashboard is intended to be used as a planning tool for pronghorn hunting applicants that are successful in the annual Big Game Drawing. The data contained within this dashboard is derived from previously submitted hunter harvest reports. The location data is approximate and prone to spatial error, so should only be used as a general guide of where successful harvest has occurred in previous years. Harvest locations are aggregated into a rectangular grid, due to the imprecise nature of the data. Clicking on a grid rectangle will display the number of harvests occurring within the rectangle, based upon the year and hunt code filters selected. These rectangles can make it appear that harvest has occurred outside of the hunt zone boundaries, but this is not the case. Hunters should be aware of all hunting regulations and should abide by hunt zone boundaries as described in Section 363, Title 14 California Code of Regulations. Hunters should also be aware of private property boundaries and have written permission from the landowner prior to accessing and hunting private property. Hunting tags do not authorize or entitle the tagholder to private property access. Do not assume that you have permission to hunt an area based upon previous hunter harvest success.
