Notify CDFW of Lake or Streambed Alteration

Fish and Game Code section 1602 requires any person, state or local governmental agency, or public utility to notify CDFW before beginning any activity that will substantially modify a river, stream or lake.


Online Submittal

(for Cannabis Cultivation Projects ONLY)

  • Notifications requesting a General Agreement for Activities Related to Cannabis Cultivation (General Agreement) must use the online submittal process.
  • Notifications for Cannabis cultivation projects requesting a Standard Agreement (term of five years or less) may use the online or paper submittal process.

Online notification is not available for other project types at this time.
