Classroom teachers must complete a full workshop to become certified to participate in this program.
Workshops for the 2019/20 School Year
Registration will open on SEPTEMBER 18 at 4:00 p.m. and teachers will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. Please send an email to Ethan.Rotman@wildlife.ca.gov asking to be notified when registration opens.
- Teachers in the East Bay including Contra Costa and Alameda counties and the cities of Fairfield, Suisun, Tracy and Vallejo

To Register - $25 registration fee (50%-100% of equipment cost will be covered by your sponsor)
- Teachers in Marin, Napa, San Mateo and Lake counties and the Peninsula including San Francisco

To register - $25 registration fee (100% of equipment cost will covered by your sponsor).
- Teachers in Santa Cruz Area
This year we will not be offering a workshop in Santa Cruz. Teachers may register for the
Marin Workshop listed above.
- Teachers in Sonoma and Mendocino counties

For all workshops:
- You must attend the entire workshop to be certified.
- Sign up for the workshop based on the location of your school.
- Only classroom teachers are eligible to receive a permit to hatch fish.
